Tom Lowe, Director
Tom Lowe served in heavy combat as a 19 Delta Recon Specialist in
Operation Desert Storm, and operated as a special teams member with JTF-6
and the DEA.  He was awarded 12 military commendation medals, including
multiple ARCOMMs, and was a Ft. Carson Top Gun on the Bradley Fighting
Vehicle.

After the Army, Tom joined up with Michael Huffington's $30-million US
Senate campaign, and soon became a high-powered political consultant in
California.  In Washington, Tom was a writer and producer at network
television's
The McLaughlin Group.  At 24, Tom became the youngest person
ever to serve as Chief Speechwriter and Director of Public Affairs for the
Speaker of the California Assembly in Sacramento.  His speech,
A New Vision
for California,
was reprinted in the prestigious California Journal.  One of Tom's
many
LA Times opinion editorials was entered into the United States
Congressional Record.

Frustrated with the influence of special-interest money and Christian
Conservatives, Tom left politics in 1996 to become a freelance writer.  He has
been published in the
LA Times, OC Register, Washingtonian, POV, Orange
Coast, SD Union Tribune, SF Chronicle
, and numerous other high-circulation
publications.  He published his first novel,
Spin, in hardback and paperback
with Simon & Schuster to critical praise.

Tom has traveled to more than 30 countries, including a research trip to Jane
Goodall's Gombe Stream chimpanzee sanctuary in Tanzania.  He has lived in
Germany, Belize, Spain, Honduras, Afghanistan, and Guangdong Province in
China.

Tom's first screenplay,
Between Lions and Men, was backed by Ken Achity's
AEI and Michael Ovitz's AMG, but eventually was shelved over rewrite issues.
Since returning from Afghanistan and China, Tom has focused on his longtime
dream of becoming a motion picture director.
